Monday Giveaway: Collins Blue Wonder Marker

By Serena Nabeta | March 23, 2009

mondaygiveaway

Monday giveaway fun is back! Check back every fourth Monday of the month for some fun giveaway prizes that you could win!

c48

Collins water soluble marker easily draws a bright blue line that is removable with plain water. Perfect for marking lines for quilt blocks, embroidery designs and decorative stitches!

Note from Serena: If you are wanting a thick, visible line, this marker works great! The bright blue makes the line easy to see. I love using this marker because I can iron right over the marks and still wash out the lines. Always try a scrap of fabric just to be sure, but I have never had this marker bleed or create a permanent line in the fabric.

Didn’t win this giveaway? You can still purchase the wonder marker here!

I have always been cautious with markers until I read Serena’s comment about this one. I like not having to worry about ironing before removal. This marker works great!

I’m always afraid to use markers and end up using chalk which has to be re-marked because it disappears as I’m moving the fabric. I’ve never gone wrong with anything you’ve recommended, Serena, so I’ll put this on my list.

If I don’t win this, I’ll definitely buy one. If I do win, you can contact me at dmj53(at)hotmail(dot)com

That looks like a great item to have. I have bought markers similar to this in the past and they haven’t worked well. This one being recommended by you as well as her makes me think it may be another one that I need to try.

I’ve heard that there are horror stories related to products like this, but I’ve never tried/experienced it personally….so I’ll just have to wait & see for myself…
