Last week I spent some time with my sister who lives out of state. With her upcoming wedding, I was prepared to do some sewing. The previous week, I had shipped one of my machines (this is why you are supposed to have more than one machine! :)) to Kentucky and a box full of supplies that I would need. Little did I think about just WHERE I would be setting up my machine! :)

I’m not sure I would want to stand for hours on end sewing, but for a few hours here and there, it worked just fine!

I have been working with some purple pansy fabric for the new quilt I’m planning to start teaching this Fall. I was fussy cutting the pansies out of the fabric and throwing my scraps onto the floor. Skittles was on the floor, looking up at me, just waiting for another piece of scrap fabric to fall!
